Hope Smith

Hope Smith is 23 years old from Fairborn, Ohio.

My name is Hope Smith, and I am so honored to represent Ohio as the 2026 Junior Miss Amazing Queen! At 23 years old, I have learned that my disability is only one part of who I am—it does not define my dreams or my future. I am nonverbal and communicate using an AAC device with Proloquo2Go and adapted American Sign Language. My voice may sound different than most people’s, but I have so much to say, and I love showing others that there are many beautiful ways to communicate.

I am a part-time student at Sinclair Community College, where I am studying Mental Health Services because I dream of becoming a licensed counselor. I want to help others, especially people with disabilities, know they are seen, heard, and valued. I was honored to make the Dean’s List last December, and I continue to challenge myself through Kumon math because I believe learning never stops. I enjoy reading, crafting, dancing, pageants, and spending time with my family. One of my favorite ways to express myself is through dance, and I love incorporating sign language into my performances.

Miss Amazing has become such an important part of my life. At almost every doctor’s appointment I go to, I tell my doctors, nurses, and therapists about Miss Amazing because I want more people to know about this incredible organization and how it empowers people with disabilities. I love sharing my experience and encouraging others to learn about all the amazing opportunities Miss Amazing provides.

One of my greatest passions is encouraging others to believe in themselves. I hope that by sharing my journey, I can inspire people to look beyond disabilities and see each person’s unique abilities and potential. Miss Amazing has helped me grow in confidence, make lifelong friendships, and believe even more in what I can accomplish.

Representing Ohio at the National Miss Amazing Summit is truly a dream come true. I am so excited to meet all of the incredible queens from across the country, celebrate our unique journeys, and show the world that we are all AMAZING in our own way. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me, supported me, and cheered me on. I can’t wait to represent Ohio with pride!

This was Hope’s first year participating in the Ohio Miss Amazing Event and will be her first time going to Chicago, Illinois. Hope brings beauty and grace to the stage and has a smile that lights up a room. I can’t wait to see Hope shine on the BIG Stage in Chicago. Congratulations and I am so PROUD of you!!
