McKenzie Lewis

McKenzie Lewis. McKenzie is 28 years old and from Canton, Ohio.

McKenzie has expanded her love of art and drawing this year. She has a variety of interests when she is drawing – from Disney to flowers. Art is therapy for her and is her happy place. With some of her sister Queens, she has made Christmas cards for the homeless and feel better cards for children in Akron Children’s Hospital. McKenzie created some cute art for buttons which she sold to raise funds for the trip to Chicago.

McKenzie also volunteered for the Dash for Down Syndrome for GiGi’s Playhouse where she participated in a 5K walk this summer. She was able to donate some of her buttons and make friends during the event. McKenzie has grown leaps and bounds in confidence as she is starting to get out and be more productive in the community.

When McKenzie is not drawing or dancing, she is spending time reading to her two-year-old nephew. She loves kids and being will reading to toddlers in September.

McKenzie and her husband Shawn recently celebrated their 7th Anniversary. McKenzie and Shawn love spending time together whether they are having a date night, watching a movie, doing crafts and playing cards or just hanging out. McKenzie and Shawn are diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

This was McKenzie’s third year at Ohio Miss Amazing capturing the title of Miss in 2024 and this year 2026 Sr. Miss. This will be her second time to the National Miss Amazing Summit in Chicago. I am excited to see what McKenzie brings to the BIG Stage in Chicago. Congratulations and I am looking forward to seeing McKenzie and Shawn dancing during her Passion Presentation. Truly a love story!!!
